Every deck opens into eight study modes — Flashcards, Multiple Choice, Speed Quiz, the Vocab Maze, Type the Answer, Match the Pairs, Use It and Say It Your Way — all reading the same cards, so switching costs you nothing. Get a card right in two different modes and Knovli marks it Proven. Tell Knovli the date you need a deck learned by and it builds a paced lesson plan, mixing today’s terms with earlier ones so nothing slips, and reshuffling itself when you miss a day.

Play and compete

Studying doesn’t have to feel like studying. Four competitive modes, all earning the same XP a study session does. 1vWorld puts you against everybody playing right now; 1v1 is a challenge you send to one person; Group Play turns a deck into a live game for a whole room with a join code; and the Daily Quiz is a short, school-safe current-events quiz that keeps a streak alive.

Knovli Atlas

Explore the world. Master it. A world map that starts blank and fills in as you learn it. Seven modes cover countries, flags, capitals, borders and regions — from finding a country on the map to narrowing down a mystery one with yes/no questions. A country only counts as mastered once you have got it right in two different modes, and the United States drills down into its states.
