What your child is doing on Knovli
Knovli is a study tool. Children use it to learn vocabulary, facts and concepts with flashcards, short daily lessons and quiz games — usually because a teacher has set it, sometimes on their own.

What they do on it
Most of the time is spent on flashcard decks: their own, their teacher’s, or ones published by other people. A mastery plan turns a deck into a few minutes of work a day leading up to a date, and Knovli tracks which cards they have actually got right.
The games are quizzes on the same material. A Group Play game is hosted by a teacher for the class; the others are short rounds against other players. There is no open chat between players.
What it costs
Nothing, for a child using it through a class or on the free plan. Pricing shows the paid plans and what they add; nothing is charged unless somebody chooses to buy one.
How student accounts are protected
A student who joins a class is treated as a student account everywhere in Knovli. On public leaderboards they appear under a generated player name with no photo, their profile cannot be made public, and student accounts are not shown advertising.
Anything a user publishes for others to see is screened first, and every public deck has a report button. Student data and safety sets this out in full, and the Privacy Policy is the formal statement.
Your rights as a parent
You can ask to see the information held about your child, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or withdraw your consent to its collection. Write to support@harborframelabs.com from an address we can connect to the account, and we will answer within 30 days.
If your child uses Knovli through school, the school may also be able to help: the teacher controls the class and what is assigned in it.
Common questions
Can strangers contact my child on Knovli?
There is no open chat or direct messaging between players. Games are quiz rounds; other players see a player name and a score.
Will my child see adverts?
Student accounts are not shown advertising.
Can I see what my child has been studying?
Sign in with them and open their Progress page, which shows their decks, streak and what they have proven. A class teacher sees the progress of the students in their class.
How do I delete my child’s account?
Write to support@harborframelabs.com and we will remove it. An account holder can also delete their own account from their profile settings.
