Create and share on Knovli
Anything you build on Knovli can stay entirely private. If you want to share it, there are two routes: publish a deck to the community, or become a Content Expert and write Curated Content that carries a verified badge.

Publish a deck
Every deck has a visibility setting. Switch one to public and it gets its own address, appears in Explore and can be copied by anybody — into their own library, as their own copy, without touching yours.
Public decks are how most of Knovli’s library exists. A deck that helped you is very likely to help the next person taking the same course.
Content Experts and Curated Content
Curated Content is the reviewed half of the library: material written and checked by people qualified in the subject, organised by subject and learning standard, and carrying the Content Expert badge so a student or a teacher can tell at a glance that somebody vouched for it.
Content Expert is an applied-for role, not a setting. Knovli posts open positions for the subjects it currently needs, and you apply to those.
The Quality Check
Every public deck is scored out of 100 against the rules in Knovli’s own guide to building flashcards: whether it has a workable number of cards, whether answers stay short, whether each card tests a single idea, whether questions are specific, and whether any cards are blank or repeated.
A deck scoring 85 or better, with at least 20 cards and nothing blank or repeated, carries a Quality Check badge on its page. Roughly half of Knovli’s public decks meet that bar. If you built the deck, you also get the other half of it: a panel naming the cards worth fixing and what each one costs you.
It is an automatic check of how a deck is built, and it never judges whether the answers are correct. That is what Curated Content is for, and a person does that.
Creator Studio
Active Content Experts get Creator Studio: a scoped authoring surface for building and publishing content in their subject, with drafts, a review inbox and the tools to check coverage before anything goes out.
It is deliberately separate from ordinary deck building. Content published through Creator Studio carries the badge, and the badge means somebody qualified read it.
Common questions
Can anyone publish a deck on Knovli?
Yes. Any account can make a deck public and have it appear in Explore, as long as it is not nearly the same as a deck that is already there.
Why was my deck not listed in Explore?
Explore lists one of each deck. If most of your cards match a deck that is already public — whether you copied it or typed it from the same source — yours is saved but not listed, and Knovli tells you which deck it matches. You can share it by link instead, or change or add cards until about a third are your own and make it public then. Using the same terms with definitions you wrote yourself counts as your own deck.
Can I share a deck without listing it publicly?
Yes. Choose Share by link. Anyone you send the link to can open the deck, and it does not appear in Explore or in search results.
What is the Content Expert badge?
It marks content approved by somebody qualified in that subject. It is how curated material is distinguished from community decks.
How do I become a Content Expert?
Knovli lists open creator positions for the subjects it needs. Signed-in users see them under Creator opportunities in the menu.
Do I lose my deck if I publish it?
No. Other people take copies; your original stays yours and stays under your control, including the choice to make it private again.
